WHAT IS A
Round robin?

A round robin takes your picks and splits them into a bunch of smaller parlays instead of one all-or-nothing ticket. That means you can still win money even when a selection or two doesn’t come through. More coverage, more chances for a bit more total stake.

MANY PARLAYS • ONE TICKET

A ROUND ROBIN IN 3 PARTS

Split your picks into combos, so one miss doesn’t wreck everything.

01

PICK 3–8 TEAMS

Your pool of selections.

02

CHOOSE THE PARLAY SIZE

2s, 3s, 4s… how many teams per combo.

03

STAKE PER PARLAY

Total bet = per-parlay wager × number of combos.

SMALL PARLAYS, MORE CHANCES

A round robin breaks your selections into every smaller parlay combination automatically. Each mini-parlay stands on its own, so a single loss doesn’t wipe out the ticket the way it would in a straight parlay. You’re trading a little extra cost for a lot more ways to cash.

HOW IT WORKS — A QUICK EXAMPLE

Three teams: Rams +10.5, Packers -6.5, Lions +8.

Round-robin by 2s = three parlays:

Rams + Packers/Rams + Lions/Packers + Lions

Each is independent, lose one, and the other two can still win.

WHAT IT COSTS

Your total stake is the per-parlay amount times the number of combinations. Three teams by 2s makes three parlays; at $50 each that’s $150. A four-team-by-2s makes six parlays $50 each is $300. More teams and smaller combos mean more parlays, and a bigger total ticket.

4 teams by 2s

ROUND ROBIN VS. STRAIGHT PARLAY

The difference is forgiveness. A straight parlay needs every pick to win — one miss and you’re out. A round robin spreads your picks across many small parlays, so a loss or two still leaves winning combinations alive. You give up some top-end payout for a much softer landing.

ADD MONEYLINES TO MIX IT UP

You can drop moneyline picks into a round robin, not just spreads. Favorites tend to trim your payouts; underdogs can pump them up. Blending safe favorites with a couple of live dogs is a common way to balance chances and upside.

ROUND ROBIN VS. THE FIELD

Round robin

BET

Many small parlays; partial wins still pay; higher total cost.

Parlay

BET

One ticket, all must hit; biggest payout, least forgiving.

Straight

BET

One game at a time; simplest of all.

WHY

a round robin

You love several picks but don’t want one miss to kill the ticket.

WRAPPING IT UP

A round robin is the forgiving cousin of the parlay — spread your picks across smaller combinations and you can still cash when a leg or two misses. It costs more up front and pays less than a clean parlay, so keep the team count sensible, mix favorites with dogs, and watch the total stake.
