No spread. Your team wins, you win. Canadiens -180 vs. Hurricanes +210: lay $180 to win $100 on the favorite, or bet $100 to win $210 on the dog. OT and shootouts count.
THE PUCK LINE IS THE SPREAD
The puck line is almost always -1.5/+1.5 with a price attached. Penguins -1.5 (-180) needs Pittsburgh to win by 2 or more. Lightning +1.5 (+120) cashes if Tampa Bay wins or loses by exactly one goal.
A one-goal Penguins win pays the moneyline, kills -1.5.
