No spread. Your team wins the game, you win the bet. Giants -310 vs. Dodgers +220: lay $310 to win $100 on the favorite, or bet $100 to win $220 on the dog.
THE RUN LINE IS THE SPREAD
The run line is almost always -1.5/+1.5 with a price attached. Giants -1.5 (-180) needs San Francisco to win by 2 or more. Dodgers +1.5 (+120) cashes if Los Angeles wins outright or loses by exactly one.
A one-run Giants win pays the moneyline, kills -1.5.
