MLB’s 162-game schedule is built from series, most of them three games. Back a team and you need them to take more games than the other side. Win two of three, you cash.
GAME ONE CAN’T BEAT YOU
Red Sox at Yankees, three games in the Bronx. New York is -150 to win the series, Boston +125. Bet $150 on the Yankees and you win $100 if they take two of three or sweep. They can lose the opener 9-1 and it changes nothing.
Only the series count matters, never the run totals.
